How can I pay for a service?

We currently accept payment via PayPal.

Do you offer money back guarantee?

Do not worry – our main goal is to offer you the best possible service there is, so give us a try. If MyBits does not fit your needs, contact us within 7 days after you made your purchase and we will return money. Please note that there are no refunds where a service breach has occurred.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my account?

You can upgrade your account but, unfortunately, because of the nature of technology used to run our services we are unable to provide downgrade.

How am I billed for my services?

You are billed in advance on a monthly basis in advance. If you want to be billed quarterly or annually, please contact our sales team.

Is there any kind of contact?

No, you are not locked into contract. You can cancel your service anytime without any additional fees.

How long does provisioning take?

Setup is almost instant, so you should be able to use a service minutes after successful purchase. If you already paid for a service but never got confirmation e-mail from us, please check a Spam folder or contact our Support.

What can I back up?

The R1Soft agent can be installed on any Windows or Linux distribution or full-virtualization Virtual Private Servers. The R1Soft agent will not work on container-based virtualizations such as OpenVZ or LXC. Additionally, FreeBSD or other BSD variants are not supported.

How do I manage my back up?

We provide you with Web based Backup Service Manager which you can use to configure, monitor and manage all of your back up processes.

Can I back up databases?

Yes, of course. You can back up MySQL or MariaDB database servers without trouble.

How often can I run back up?

It’s all up to you – you can configure it to run on hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis. You can also create a custom policies for running a back up.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my account?

You can upgrade or downgrade anytime you like. Please contact our Support for more details.

For how long can I keep my data?

During back up configuration you can choose for how many back up generation you want to keep. There are a few defined options (3, 5 or 7) but you can always make a custom data retention policy.

How do I setup automated backup and can you run it for me?

The setup process is very easy and it can be done in just a few minutes. Basically, you need to install an back up agent on your server and connect it to our Backup Server Manager. You can find more details how to do it in our Knowledge Database.

How can I restore my data?

Restoring data is very easy – all you need to do is to login to Backup Server Manager, choose the target server and from a tree-like interface select the files you need.
